The placement of DM in Pulmonary Medicine in AIIMS Patna is good. In the 2022 placement drive, all the students who graduated from the programme were placed. The average salary offered was INR 15 Lacs per annum. The highest salary offered was INR 20 Lacs per annum.

Corporate hospital they will be paid 40k to 80k a month, 40k in South India where the number of doctors are more and 60k to 80k in North India and union states of India. In places like Mumbai and Delhi, the salary will be more due to higher cost of living. The increments will be maybe 1k a month, this year no one got increments due to covid19. Salary as Junior Resident in government hospitals Rs 94,700. Thank You!
