For admission to the B.Tech programme at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University (DBRAU), the university accepts the following entrance exams:
- JEE Main: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is a national-level engineering entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is one of the primary criteria for B.Tech admissions at DBRAU.
- CUET: The University also accepts the score card of this examination for granting admission to B.Tech programms.

The last date for admission at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University actually depends on the course you are taking admission in like:
- For Undergraduate courses the last date to apply is July 5 2024
- For Postgraduate courses the last dateto apply is 30th June 2024
- And for PhD programm the last date to apply is 30 June 2024

Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University (DBRAU) does not provide 100% placement. The university's placement statistics vary across different courses and years. For example, the NIRF report 2023 for DBRAU states that out of 449 UG (3-year) graduates, 28 were placed in the 2022 placement session, which is approximately 6.2% placement rate. Similarly, the placement report for Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, University of Delhi, states that 49 students were placed in the 2022 placement drive, which is approximately 10.8% placement rate.

The average package for B.Tech students at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University is not publicly available. However, the university's placement statistics for other courses are available. For example, the placement statistics for MBA at Dr. BR Ambedkar University Delhi are not publicly available, but the university's placement report for the 2022 placement drive at Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, University of Delhi, reported a the highest package of INR 7.1 LPA and an average package of INR 4.02 LPA. The college placed a total of 49 students.

Like any other university there are some eligibility criteria for taking admission in DBRAU which are:
- Academic Qualification : Candidate must qualify 10+2 or equivalent examination with recognised board with subject such as Physics, Maths and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject. With at least 50% marks ( 45% for reserved category).
- Entrance exam : Candidates needs to qualify in the Uttar Pradesh Common Entrance Test (UPCET) conducted by the university for admission to the B.Tech program.

That depend on various factor such as placement records, student personal intrest, career prospects, etc. on the basis of which certain best courses DBRAU offers are:
- MBA: As course is AICTE approved, has shown good placement records and provides specialisation in various fields it is certainly the best.
- MCA: If one is looking to build career in field of IT and Software development then Univeristy offers in-depth knowledge of application and software development

Well, here you have to consider and evaluate different aspects of both university and course.
- MBA programm of DBRAU is certainly certified by AICTE which increase the credential of degree and recognition of University.
- Also, University offers specialisation in variety of fields which increases the wide range of oppurtunities for student to choose.
- Also there is limited seats in the MBA programm which increases the personalized learning experience from teachers.
- But the infrastructure of the programm is out dated also there is limited facililty and limited industrial exposure which is necessary for practical learning.
