The exam authority has released the AME CET 2026 syllabus on the official website. Candidates appearing in the exam are advised to refer to the AME CET syllabus for their preparation. The syllabus of the AME CET exam is released separately for all the course levels.  AME CET syllabus 2026 comprises topics from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, General Aptitude, General Awareness, English and General Intelligence & Reasoning and others.

Yes, the AME CET 2026 syllabus varies as per the course group. Applicants appearing at 10+2 PCM and 3 Years Engineering Diploma or higher degree have to appear for General Awareness, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Aptitude Test. However, applicants appearing for 12th Non PCM and 10th level have to appear for General Awareness, English and General Intelligence & Reasoning subjects' paper in AME CET 2026.

Candidates are advised to refer to the best books to cover the AME CET 2026 syllabus. Applicants can refer to the table given below to cover the AME CET syllabus effectively.  

  • Physics - NCERT Books, Concepts of Physics (Vol. 1 and 2) by H.C Verma, Fundamentals of Physics by Halliday, Resnick & Walker 
  • Chemistry - NCERT Books, Modern Approach to Chemical Calculations by R.C. Mukherjee, Organic Chemistry by O P Tandon 
  • Mathematics – NCERT Books, Objective Mathematics by R D Sharma, Plane Trigonometry by S L Loney

It is not compulsory to answer all the questions in AME CET 2026 exam. Applicants can answer any number of questions during exam. As marks will be deducted for every wrong answer, candidates should attempt questions which they are confident in. Applicants should mark the answers in which they are not sure.

  • Visit the AME CET official website - amecet.in. 

  • Click on the AME CET exam tab from the home page. 

  • Select the syllabus icon from the dropdown menu. 

  • AME CET syllabus will appear on the screen. 

  • Download the syllabus PDF for future reference.

Yes, it is always advised to cover the complete AME CET 2026 syllabus to ace the exam with a good score. Applicants are advised to keep more focus on their weak areas. It is quite essential to figure out high and low weightage topics at the start of preparations. Candidates must focus on high-weightage topics first, followed by low-weightage topics.

The authorities have released the AME CET eligibility criteria on the official website. A candidate can take AME CET 2026 a maximum of three times in one academic year. Applicants are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling out the AME CET 2026 application form. The authorities will consider the best of three scores for admission to various courses offered by the universities.

After every section, at the end of the AME CET 2026 application form page, there would be a 'Save & Next' tab, which candidates need to click every time before moving on to the next page. This would ensure that the information uploaded is saved properly, and candidates can log in later to complete the AME CET 2026 application process.

The AME CET 2026 application fee has been announced. For male candidates of all categories, the application fee is INR 1600, while for female candidates and SC/ST category male candidates, the fee is INR 1400. Candidates have to pay the application fee in online mode to fill out the AME CET application form. Candidates have to note that the AME CET application fee is the same for both offline and online application forms.
