Amity University Bengaluru is usually placed at Tier 2 for Engineering courses in India. In NIRF 2023, Amity University ranked 25 for universities in overall ranking and the Engineering branches of the university were ranked at 50s. The academic recognition of the rank may differ but the campus is known for its focus on research, facilities and industrial ties because of which it operates in Bengaluru.

Challenges of obtaining an MBA at Amity University Bengaluru Though it is tough to get an MBA it is definitely not impossible, especially if one is willing to work hard and persevere. The program includes lectures, projects, quizzes, self and peer assessments, among others. Students must participate actively in group discussions, group presentations and internships and this is a little challenging but very important for practical purposes. Studying independently at university develops more critical thinking and the need to work in groups which demands reliability and time.

B.Sc students passing out from Amity University Bengaluru in the specialised field of Biotechnology, Environmental Science an Data Science have had a good placement records. In the previous placement seasons the university has claimed to have provided around INR 4-6 Lacs per annum average salary to its B.Sc. graduates but few top performers have been able to grab offers of INR 8 Lacs per annum and above. Some of the famous recruiters have been Biocon, Wipro, HDFC bank etc. These results are possible due to the university's close ties to the industry and the placement cell operates in the university.

The latest ranking shows that Amity University Bengaluru falls in the second tier of private universities in the tier-2 private university category in India. According to NIRF, 2023 ranking, Amity University was ranked around 25th overall in India but the rank of the Bengaluru campus differs program-wise. The management and Engineering courses in the university are famous and this university is usually placed in the top 50 for these courses.

The candidates planning to join B.Tech course in Amity University Bengaluru should pass 10+2 examination with minimum 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics, and optional subjects – Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science. The cutoff for B.Tech admissions in Amity University Bengaluru depends upon a student's performance in any entrance test – the latest cutoff that has been observed in terms of the entrance examination is still comparatively low in relation to the majority of programs. for the admission cycle of 2023, the cutoff for branches like Computer Science and Engineering often ranged from 85% to 90% in Jee Mains. Other branches like Civil and Mechanical Engineering had cutoffs around 70% to 80%.

MBA graduates at Amity get average pay package ranging from INR 6- 8 lacs per annum and the highest placement reaching up to INR 12 lacs per annum with offers from Deloitte and TCS.
