Hi! Yes Amrita University is pure veg university, non veg is strictly banned on the campus of Amrita University.So please consider the fact that food plays an important role in development of students, if you are a puge vegeterian it's no problem, but if you area a non-veggie you might be facing some serious depression regarding the food.

MBA/PGDM | Candidate completed 10+3 years Diploma +3 years pattern are also eligible to apply. Or Candidate completed 10+2+AMIE are also eligible to apply. Or Candidate completed 10+3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE are also eligible to apply. |
M.E./M.Tech | Candidates completed B.E. / B.Tech. Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ B.E. / B.Tech. Instrumentation and Control Engineering/ B.E. / B.Tech. Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering/ B.Tech. Instrumentation Engineering/ B.E. / B.Tech. Software Engineering from any recognized institute/university are eligible to apply. |
B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile. Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. |
