For admission in University of Madras - UNOM for M.A. in Ancient History and Archaeology the minimum eligibility criteria is that candidate must have completed their graduation from a recognized university.

Hello,
There are some top colleges for post-graduation in ancient history:Fees (per annum)
1. Jawaharlal Nehru University - INR 376
2. University of Allahabad - INR 1,500
3. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorkhpur University - INR 3,000
4. Karnataka University - INR 6,500
5. Tilak Dhari P. G. College - INR 3,500
You can apply only when you did graduation in any recognized university with 50% marks and some of these colleges conduct entrance exam and some give direct admission. And for more details, check out this link:

Admission is through counseling based on the rank obtained in Banaras Hindu University Postgraduate Entrance Test (BHU-PET) conducted by the university.
