The key eligibility requirements for the BFA course are thus as follows:
Candidates who have passed the 10+2 or an equivalent exam from a reputable board with at least a 50% overall score are only eligible to apply for BFA [ Bachelor of fine arts] course at Andhra university. Candidates must also get a minimum score of 50% on the entrance exam administered by Andhra University in order to be considered for admission to the Bachelor of Fine Arts programme there.

The Candidate should have completed the B.Sc. With any two of the following subjects: Sericulture/ Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Forestry/ Zoology/ Botany/ Chemistry/ Home Science/ Clinical Pathology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Genetics/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Entomology/ Medical Lab Technology (or) Ag. B.Sc. With at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognised institute.The candidate should have completed their 10+2 examinations from a state-recognised board.
