Yes, it is a good decision provided that you don't restrict yourself in graphics or animation. Rather, join a course which covers graphics, animation and VFX, you will have a much wider scope.

I have spent more than a decade in the animation industry and I can assure you that normally no one waits for a job after completing a course successfully provided you have developed the skills. It is a competitive industry, every day you need to develop and update your skills. If you have the right skills, no one can stop you to get a job and grow. If you don't have the skills, no one can promise you a job. An animation institute can promise you to get an interview but getting a job is not in their hand, it depends on you and how you perform. However, if you are regular to your classes and submit your assignments regularly

No. There are certain situations in which correct interpretation of color can be critical; the primary example is traffic lights. Cooking can be a frustrating experience for a color blind individual.There won't be any effect on the creativity. Color blindness can make some jobs difficult, and others impossible. Working with animation, fashion & art can be extremely difficult as one will be unable to differentiate between some of the colors you'll be required to work with as an everyday part of your job.
