Because your son has completed 10th and 12th from India. So he has the following options:
1. B.Sc. Hospitality and Hotel Administration (HHA) through NCHM JEE conducted by NTA
Upper age limit : 25 Years
Eligibility criteria : 10+2 in any stream
2. Bachelor of Design from NIFT and NID
Upper age limit : 23 and 20 years respectively
Eligibility criteria : 10+2 in any stream
3. JEE Main for B.Tech and B.Arch courses (If studied 12th in PCM stream)
4. NEET for MBBS course (If studied 12th in PCB stream)
5. BCA if studied 12th with Maths
6. Paramedical courses like B.Sc. MLT, Microbiology, Nursing etc.

Placement is more of student's labour and when it comes to Animation and VFX it is more of student's learning, performance and creativity but yes alot even depends upon choosing a right academic partner, as the college or university layes the thrust and foundation for the job opportunities for th student.
