The cutoff for Anjalai Ammal Mahalingam Engineering College kinda depends on your branch and category. But usually, you need to have at least 45% in 12th PCM to be eligible . For TNEA rank entry, typical closing ranks for general category in 2024 were:

CSE: around 38,000

IT: 57,000

ECE: 60,000

EEE: 89,000

Civil: 1,06,000?

So if you have a TNEA rank under ~40–60? k, your chances are pretty good for core branches.

Anjalai Ammal Mahalingam Engineering College (AAMEC) does not offer a full 100% scholarship to all students. However, they do provide scholarships based on merit, income category (like BC, MBC, SC/ST if parents' annual income INR 2.5 lakhs) . Reviews mention merit-based awards too. So yes, there are financial aid options. You'll likely get partial support if you qualify.

The highest package offered by AAMEC is 4.8 LPA while the average is 2 LPA . The top recruiters includes Hakuna Matata solutions, Seventh sense, Sysarc infomatix and Kotak Mahindra Bank. Though the placement facilities are much lesser as compared to other top colleges the placements are still decent .

TNEA results are typically announced in late June or early July, after the Class 12 board results arrive. Once the official date is published by the Directorate of Technical Education Tamil Nadu, the college shares counselling schedules with students. If you're planning to join through TNEA, this is an important moment but even if dates shift slightly each year, the admissions team makes sure you're informed and prepared to take the next step confidently.
