Yes, the WBJEEB has removed the upper age limit for the WB ANM GNM exam. Earlier it was 27 years but now anyone above 17 years of age can apply for the exam.
The age cutoff date is December 31, 2026.

The candidates should fulfill, the following eligibility criteria as notified in the WB ANM GNM information bulletin:
Age Criteria - As on 31-Dec-2026, the candidate must have attained the age of 17 years. There is no upper age limit now. The candidates of any age can apply.
Gender Criteria - For ANM Exam, only female candidates can apply.
For GNM, both male and female candidates can apply.
Educational Qualification Required - 10+2 with 40 % marks
Domicile - The candidates must be a permanent resident of West Bengal for last ten years till 31.12.2025

Shri Swami Bhumanand College of Nursing in Haridwar offers the Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife (ANM) course, a foundational program in nursing education.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must be at least 17 years old on or before December 31 of the year in which admission is sought. The maximum age limit is 35 years.
Candidates who cleared 10+2 grades with any subjects scoring passing marks are eligible for ANM.
Candidates have to be medically fit and fine.
