The degrees of regular on campus programme at Annamalai University are valid regardless of the candidate passing out in any year after getting enrolled. However, degrees through long distance methods before March 25, 2022 are considered valid, they were approved by the University's Authority, but after March 2022 the degrees earned by distance education were approved by UGC.

Admission in B.Sc Agriculture at Annamalai University requires a 10+2 pass from a recognised board, with a minimum 55% aggregate marks in the Science stream with the combination of Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry, Botany/ Zoology.
