Most of the universities and institutes accept candidates for its M.Tech programme based on fulfilment of a specified set of eligibility criteria. Similarily, for Annamalai University M.Tech admissions, the minimum marks required in graduation is 50%. Hence, a candidate scoring less than 60% is eligible to apply for admission at the institute if they have scored more than 50%. However, as admissions are entrance-based, students must secure a valid score in the accepted entrance exams. Alternatively, they can go for other colleges offering the course. The degrees of regular on campus programme at Annamalai University are valid regardless of the candidate passing out in any year after getting enrolled. However, degrees through long distance methods before March 25, 2022 are considered valid, they were approved by the University's Authority, but after March 2022 the degrees earned by distance education were approved by UGC.
