Candidates must get at least 45% of the possible points in their 10+2 coursework in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology or Technical Vocational topics in order to be qualified for the Apollo Institute of Engineering and Technology B.E./B.Tech program. As an alternative, applicants may apply for lateral entrance if they have a Diploma in Engineering and Technology with 45% of the possible points (or 40% for protected groups). A valid GUJCET or JEE Main score is required for admission and ACPC counseling is then required.

For those aspiring to become engineers, the 2014-founded Apollo Institute of Engineering and Technology (AIET), Ahmedabad, is a good option. AICTE-approved and affiliated with Gujarat Technological University, it provides state-of-the-art facilities, such as tech-enabled labs, classrooms, and a sports facility. The faculty emphasizes both academics and skill development and many of them have PhDs. With 30–40% of students placed in firms like TCS that offer average remuneration of INR 3.4-5 LPA placements are respectable. However low placement reach and restricted hostel amenities could be disadvantages.

Based on student reports from 2022–2023 the highest pay compensation for B.E./B.Tech students at Apollo Institute of Engineering and Technology Ahmedabad is INR 12 LPA. This number is consistent with placements in IT and the computer engineering where prestigious firms such as TCS and Khosiyar Infotech provide attractive incentives. Nevertheless several assessments point to lower numbers, ranging from INR 3.5 to 4 LPA for specific batches suggesting variation between branches and years. Candidates should get in touch with the institute placement cell directly for the most up-to-date and accurate information.
