While reporting at the TANATA exam centre, the candidates will have to present their admit card. Along with their TANATA admit card, the candidates will also have to produce their original valid identity proof. Any one of the following valid identity proofs can be presented at the centre - Aadhaar card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, Drivers License, any Govt. approved photo identity proof. If the candidates are unable to present their TANATA hall ticket and identity proof, then they will not be allowed to attempt the exam.

No. Candidates will not receive TANATA admit card through post or email. Authorities will release TANATA admit card online at the official website. To download admit card, the candidates will have to log in using the required credentials. No other mode will be use to release the admit card. Once the admit card is generated, candidates will have to download it and print it.

Yes. Candidates are advised to study the entire TANATA syllabus to be well prepared for the entrance examination. Since question paper will be prepared by referring to the topics included in the TANATA syllabus, the candidates are advised to prepare the entire syllabus so that they have a higher scope of performing well in the exam. However, candidates can identify important topics with higher weightage and give them more importance.

Through the TANATA mock tests, the candidates will be able to understand how the examination will be conducted and according prepare for it. The mock tests will also help the candidates to identify their commonly made mistakes so that the same is not done in the examination. Candidates will also be able to boost their time management skills by attempting the mock test within the allotted duration.

While preparing for TANATA, candidates are advised to prepare a timetable that will allow candidates to boost studies. First, candidates will have to divide the syllabus carefully so that they topics are covered before entrance exam. The topics should be divided carefully so that the daily study routine is not monotonous. Candidates should also include revision and mock tests in daily routine.

The TANATA paper is divided into two sections - Part A consists of the Mathematics and General Aptitude section while Part B consists of the Drawing questions. The candidates will have to attempt 20 Mathematics and 40 General Aptitude questions within the initial 90 minutes. During the final 90 minutes, the candidates will have to attempt the 40 Drawing questions. All questions have to be completed within the allotted duration.

Candidates must check the official marking scheme of TANATA. As per the marking scheme, candidates will be allotted 2 marks for every correct answer. No marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. Since there is no negative marking, the candidates are advised to attempt as many question as they can so that they have a higher chance of securing the marks required for admission.

As per the TANATA exam pattern, the entrance examination will be held offline i.e., as a pen-and-paper-based test. The authorities will use no other mode to conduct TANATA. All candidates will have to mark their correct answers in the OMR sheets and submit it at the exam centres. To be prepared for the exam, the candidates are advised to check and attempt previous years' papers.

For the General Aptitude section of TANATA, the candidates will have to prepare the following topics:
- Objects, texture related to architecture and the built environment. Interpretation of pictorial compositions
- Visualizing three-dimensional objects from two-dimensional drawing
- Visualizing different sides of 3D objects
- Analytical reasoning, mental ability (visual, numerical and verbal), General awareness of national/ international architects and famous architectural creations.

As per official syllabus of TANATA, the candidates will have to study topics from Mathematics, General Aptitude and Drawing. The level of Mathematics syllabus will be similar to the 12th standard (or equivalent) examination. The examination is conducted to assess the candidate's aptitude in the subject; therefore, they are advised to check the TANATA syllabus carefully during their preparation process.
