Both are different paths that are just interlinked at some point. Choosing between a B.Arch which is also known as Bachelor of Architecture and a B.Planning aka Bachelor of Planning depends on your career goals, strengths.
B.Arch basically deals with individual buildings and the environment around it all within boundary of a site provided.
B.Planning deals with only planning aspects you won't plan buildings etc. but you will plan large-scale areas like town services, city-scale development, policy, and infrastructure, etc.

Well, studying architecture and planning in India or abroad ttally depends onthe students and their budget. Although Architecture is considered one of the expensive degrees to pursue but after completing the course, you can get a lucrative salary.
Studying architecture or planning abroad provides you with a broader exposure, global recognition, advanced techniques, along with the better job prospects, but at a higher cost. Studying in India will give you strong foundational skills, cultural relevance, lower costs, and familiarity, though it can be more traditional; the best choice depends on your budget, career goals and your desire for

UNIPUNE MAH MArch CET Cutoff 2025 was released for all categories and rounds for the students belonging to the Home State quota. The MAH MArch CET Cutoff 2025 ranged from 83.65 to 3.87 percentile from the first to the last round closing percentiles. As per the last round, the hardest college for admission was Dr. Manzoor Hasan Ayyubi College of Education, with the last round cutoff of 83.65. On the other hand, S.P.Mandals Tilak College of Education and Nav Sahyadri Charitable Trust's College of Education, both were the easiest college for admission, with the cutoff being 3.87 percentile.

Faculty of Architecture AKTU has a total seat intake of 80 for the BArch programme every year. Though this number may increase or decrease depending on the college/university council as well as other supervisory bodies such as the UGC. Students are selected for these seats based on entrance exam scores such as NATA, JEE Main, UPTAC, CUET, etc.

The following documents are required during Faculty of Architecture AKTU admissions for BArch course:
- Class 10 and Class 12 Marksheet
- Class 10 and Class 12 Certificate
- UPTAC Final Allotment letter
- UPTAC Fee Receipt
- Aadhaar Card
- Caste and Income Certificate (if applicable)
- TC/Migration Certificate
- Anti Ragging Affidavit
- Medical Fitness Certificate
- Gap Affidavit and Hostel Affidavit (if applicable)
- Passport size colour photograph of candidate (3 nos.)
- Passport size colour photograph of mother, father and local guardian of candidate (2 nos.)

For BArch admission to Faculty of Architecture AKTU students are selected based on entrance exams scores such as NATA, JEE Main, UPTAC, CUET, etc. Students are eligible for this selection process as long as they meet the requirement of having passed Class 10 and Class 12 boards with a minimum 50% aggregate score in PCM subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Maths).
