Yes, Arizona State Uni allows Indian students to transfer. Meet the requirements mentioned below to be eligible:
- Official transcripts from every high school, college, or university attended
- Completed 12 or more transferable credits post high school
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 or better
- ACT or SAT score (if required)
- Completed high school Diploma or certificate
- Proof of English proficiency
Transfer applications can be submitted via the Arizona State Uni application portal. Deadline to apply for Fall intake is Nov 1, 2026.

Yes, students can defer their admission at ASU for up to 1 year (two consecutive semesters). Students can apply for UG programme deferral at least 2 weeks before the start of first day of classes in the original semester.
For PG courses, students need to submit a Request Change Form either online or physically on-campus.
Note: Deferrring allows a later start at ASU but it does not gurantee entry to the same programme or major.
