With a rank of 2600, you have a very good chance of getting a seat for artificial intelligence and machine learning (AIML) at SRM University. However, the competition is still tough and admission depends on various factors such as seat availability and preferences of branch. You have a rank of 2600 which is on a boundary line that makes the admission process more tough for you. Then also you can try and go for the counselling and see what happens.

Obtaining a free seat (usually under the convener quota) in the B.Tech CSE (AI & ML) programme at Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering (GVPCE) is unlikely for someone with an AP EAMCET rank of 72,735. Although GVPCE is a reputable school, there is fierce competition for popular programs like CSE (AI & ML). Candidates with significantly higher ranks often less than 10,000 usually get the first pick in these courses. There may be opportunities in less desirable branches or management quota seats, though. For a more accurate estimate, look up the GVPCE cutoff ranks from prior years.
