Asian college of engineering and technology have different fee structures based on course followed and category of admissions. The tuition fee (undergraduate) programme is about 50,000 to 75,000 per year depending on the category of B.E./B.Tech programs being pursued. And it can be either 60,000 to 90,000 a year on postgraduate courses. Examination fees, hostel costs (where there is one in the University) and other academic expenditures are added costs. The college fee is also comparatively lower than the rest of the other engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu which are also private.

In order to have a chance of getting an admission to ASCOT, the applicants should have passed the 10+2 with Physics, chemistry and mathematics as the core subjects scoring at least 45% in the aggregate (40 percent in reserved categories) to be able to get a chance at admissions from the UG to the B.E/B.Tech courses. The Tamil Nadu Engineering admissions (TNEA) is the most common mode of admissions through Class 12th scores. In case of PG programs such as M.E. a Bachelor level degree relevant with passing score in TANCET or GATE is necessary.
