Hi Sudheer,
AUCET 2018 Exam will be conducted on 13th May 2018 for M.A. HRD, M.Ed M.P.Ed MHRM. Also for others degrees on same date as well as other dates. Below attached link provides further details of AUCET 2018.

Yes, you can get admission in AU but you need to get a good rank in AUCET exam.
Distance mode is not a criterion.

It depends on the university and many other things, I really don't know, I did not clear the entrance in first go.
