- Attend the pre-departure briefing before arriving to UWE Bristol. These briefings are usually attended by seniors or alumni, so, make use of the time and opportunity to engage with them to some advices
- Join clubs and societies as per your interest. As per a student review, UWE Bristol student societies and clubs are well organized and led by really amazing students
- Utilize the well-equipped library and one can do assignments there to avoid the distraction
- Get out of your comfort zone and engage with your fellow internat

As per some of the student reviews over an unofficial source, UWE students can do the following things over the weekends:
- Join a society that interests you
- Go out for surfing
- Go to Church Climbing Centre
- Check out the museums in the city
- If the weather is nice, the applicants can head to Ashton Court which is beautiful in Summer or rent a Yobike to enjoy the weather

Postgraduate students can apply to UWE Bristol through the Application Portal available on the university's website or through an agent. While applying to the university, students are required to submit the following documents:
- Official academic marksheets/transcripts;
