If we look at the acceptance rates of both the Universities, it is easy to get into Durham University than the University of Bristol. The acceptance rates of Durham University is 41% whereas for Uni of Bristol, it is only 11.3%. There are also other factors to consider when opting any University to consider-

·       Tuition Fee

·       Course Value

By its prestige, the University of Bristol is a part of the Russell Group of Institutions, which is elite along with it top global rankings.
On the other hand,   UWE is better for students who want practice-based learning and an institution with strong industry connections with companies like Rolls Royce, BBC, CERN etc.

UWE Bristol admission requirements for Indian students vary as per the course levels. These admission requirements are given below:

  • Undergraduate: The applicants are required to have completed Class 12 qualification from CBSE / CISCE / WBCHSEB with 65% including Grade C in at least five subjects. Applicants who have done Class 12 from other state boards should contact the International Development Office
  • Postgraduate: In general, the applicants are required to have a 3 or 4-year bachelor’s degree. But, do check the minimum requirements to take admission
