In order to gain admission to the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course at Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University (DSRRAU), applicants need to pass the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). The minimum NEET-UG rank changes every year depending on the number of applications, the number of seats, and the difficulty level of the test. Historically, the closing General category ranks have fluctuated between around 26,715 and 53,451. For the category of Other Backward Classes (OBC), ranks have ranged from approximately 20,700 to 22,000, whereas for Scheduled Castes (SC), ranks have ranged between 90,000 and 100,000.

As per general guidelines of the university, the College of Ayurved, Bharati Vidyapeeth has a fee refund policy. If a student drops the course after enrollment within a given period in any given session, the fee is refunded after the following deductions have been made. Usually one is allowed to withdraw up to 80-90% of the fees in the first weeks of withdrawal. But in the case that the withdrawal is delayed, the refundable amount drastically drops down.

I think, in most cases, schools are allowed to charge a partial refund after the commencement of classes for the remaining balance. Specific time related issues and precise amount of deductions are however better sought from the admission office. Refunds are effected within one month and a half to two months after submission of documents supporting the request.

Candidates who wish to enroll in Shri Bhanwar Lal Dugar Ayurved College's Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) programme in Rajasthan must: Educational Requirement: Pass Class 12 or an equivalent test from an accredited board in biology, chemistry, and physics. At the time of admission, the applicant must be at least 17 years old. Minimum Points: Attain a minimum of 40% for SC/ST/OBC students and 50% for general category candidates in Class 12. NEET Qualification: Pass the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) with a minimum qualifying percentile. Equivalent credentials that have been authorized by the institution are acceptable for international students.

It would be difficult for someone to secure an admission seat at Shri Narayan Prasad Awasthi Government Ayurved College for BAMS with a NEET score of 43.51%ile, OBC rank of 581,435, and an All India rank of 1,311,042. Because cut-off ranks are generally much lower for government colleges, they are for BAMS programs, which tend to be much sought after.

However, the chances were much better if you belonged to a particular state or category having some reservation. So, watch out for that state-wise cutoff and counseling processes since some states have less required cut-off leaving their students with admission possibilities.
