Not necessarily. Many BAMS graduates move into related fields like pharmaceutical sales, health and wellness startups, medical writing, or hospital administration. The core medical knowledge from BAMS still holds value even outside pure Ayurvedic practice. Some students also pursue further studies to pivot into public health or research. It really depends on how you build your career post-graduation, rather than the degree limiting you.

There are about 13 top Ayurvedic colleges in Pune, with only private colleges. Some of the top colleges are Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Ashtang Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, and BSDT's Ayurved Mahavidyalaya. Admissions to these colleges based on NEET, NEET Pg and AIAPGET entrance exam.

At Sri Nrusinghnath Ayurved College and Research Institute, some BAMS fee concessions might be available for students from specific social categories.
