Whether you can get BHU for the BAMS course based on the AYUSH results would depend entirely on the category you belong to. For the General and OBC AI categories, the last round cutoff was 30748 and 32844, respectively. Hence, admissions with a rank of 70K are not possible for these categories.

On the other hand, for the SC AI category, the last round cutoff was 148564. There admissions could be possible with a rank of 70K.

No, an AYUSH doctor is not at all equal to an MBBS doctor. The studies provided and practises held in the AYUSH courses are way too different than that of an MBBS doctor.

While an MBBS doctors is trained in modern allopathic medicines, the AYUSH courses provide studies on traditional healthcare method.

Besides NEET for Ayurveda admissions, the AYUSH ministry permits numerous state and institutional exams to get into Ayurveda courses. A number of states, like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Delhi, conduct entrance exams solely for admissions in BAMS courses, i.e. UPSEE for Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam and MHT CET for Maharashtra. Besides that, certain universities and colleges conduct their entrance exams, too, for Ayurveda courses. These exams provide an alternative route for admission to Ayurveda colleges, though NEET remains the most widely accepted exam for national-level admissions.

With a rank of 3-4 Lacs in NEET and being an SC category student, you might be able to get admission into the following government colleges that are offering AYUSH courses (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, or BNYS).
Government Ayurvedic College, Lucknow
National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur
State Ayurvedic Colleges in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh
Government Homeopathic Medical College, Kolkata
The cutoff ranks differ from one year to another. Thus, it would be ideal to check the official portal for NEET counseling to acquire specific cutoff information about AYUSH courses.

NEET score 300-350 will get you into the government AYUSH colleges but the competition is very harsh. Many government colleges have a different cutoff rank for these AYUSH courses like BAMS, BHMS and BUMS. Top AYUSH colleges like BHU, DU, and Gujarat Ayurved University may have higher cutoffs, but you may still be eligible for some government institutes in states with lower cutoff trends. Do check specific state-level counseling portals and cutoff trends for accurate information.

Yes, if you have scored 390 marks in NEET 2024 then you can pursue AYUSH in any reputed private college and some of the government colleges as well. As your score is quite low getting a very good government medical college for AYUSH will be quite harder for you.
