Azim Premji University Scope

Azim Premji University, Bhopal has emerged as a recognised institution that while providing quality education at student-friendly costs, also gives back to the community. Students, from the start, are provided an education base of socially-responsible curriculum and are trained to contribute for the upliftment of the society. There are various student clubs that encourage holistic growth of students. Over 90% of the students graduating from APU Bhopal work in the social sector.

APU Bhopal is a philanthropic university with multiple state-of-the-art facilities for students to grow in their academic lives. Students can access valuable amenities like disability-friendly amenities, sports infrastructure, various student clubs and events. The university also hosts a regular Club Mela that showcases the various talents and contributions of the different university clubs.

Azim Premji University, Bhopal provides students with significant moral and financial support in their academic journeys. Over 60% of students enrolled into Azim Premji University are studying on various scholarship programs run by the university. Students seeking financial support must belong from a family having an annual income of less than INR 10 lakhs. 89% of the university expenditure is sustained by the Azim Premji Foundation itself.

Azim Premji University, Bhopal provides significant exposure to placement opportunities to students. The university so far has placed over 4,531 students over the years. Among these, 90% of the placed students are working in the social sector for societal benefit. Additionally, 80% of the APU Bhopal alumni work in various disadvantaged sections of the country.

As per the 2024 report, APU Bhopal placements recorded over 130 organizations visiting the campus, and 222 students being successfully placed. 90% of the placed student strength works in the social sector.
