Hey! I checked this while applying too. For BA (Hons) Economics at Hindu College, you need to choose English or any other language, Maths or Applied Maths (this one is compulsory), and then two more domain subjects. It's better if at least one of those is related to economics like Economics, Business Studies, or Accountancy. I went with English, Maths, Economics, and Business Studies. Also, having Maths in 12th is a must for this course.

ICFAI University Jaipur BA Economics curriculum is inclusive of semester-wise subject list, electives, etc. It also mentions that the students have to go through an internship to complete the course. Some of the topics covered in the programme are:

  • Micro Economics-I
  • Fundamentals of Banking and Insurance
  • Linear Algebra
  • History of Economic Thought
  • Macro Economics, etc.

The eligibility requirements for BA Economics at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Jain University, are as follows:

 

The candidates should have a 10+2 education from Science, Commerce, or Arts streams from any recognised board like PUC, ISC, CBSE, or equivalent.

 

The candidate needs a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the qualifying examination (with a relaxation of 5% for SC/ST candidates).

 

Admission is entry-based, where the candidates are asked to sit for the Jain Entrance Test (JET) consisting of a written test and personal interview for final shortlisting.

No, Mathematics is not compulsory for a BA in Economics at Mangalore University. The eligibility criteria that univeristy require for admissions to BA courses are candidates must complete their Class 12 from a recognised board of education or from any stream with decent scores. Hence, if candidates have studied and did not study Mathematics in their Class 12 or equivalent is not necessary to get admissions into BA in Economics.

According to me first you choose your university for studying then think about this if you become student of allahabad university then you can choose 

language section - hindi or English 

Domain section - economics
