It could be a good choice as History subject has a good share in UPSC CSE exam. It also depend on your interest. You can analyise the UPSC exam pattern and share of different subjects. Subjects like Political Science, Geography, History have a good amount of subject share in UPSC CSE.

You can do anything. Class 10, 12th, and IAS's syllabus combine Science and general knowledge. Only paper 1 has some connection to the constitution.
