Both are different fields. Find your interest, and then take admission in any college. To make you clear- Journalism is all about field work and B.Tech is all about technology.

I would suggest you to go for BA English in your UG, and then while doing your PG, you can go for a PG degree in Mass Communication, if you still have interest in BA Journalism. BA Journalism at the UG level is kind of an umbrella course that teaches you a little bit of everything. You don't gain mastery over any specific area.

The admissions take place in these days only. Check KUK website for a dedicated portal to fill Online Forms. There are colleges also who have Mas Communication Degree option. KUK conducts entrance tests.
My suggestion is, if possible, avoid taking admission to the IMC & MT. The Quality of education is disappointing and the amount of knowledge and Skills given is low.
