Lovely Professional University offers B.A. (Journalism & Mass Communication).One of my cousin has completed BJMC programme from this University.He shared his experience so I got to know about this course.
Lovely Professional University is one of the best universities in the country and will definitely a good choice for BJMC. They offer exposure for this practical course is worth mentioning.
The program is designed to expose students to all dimensions of Print, Electronic and New Age Media. The main Focus is on enhancing technical skills of reporting, news design software, video editing, photography, etc.
He told me School of Education, Lovely Professional University- LPU is a leading teacher education institution in northern India. The school offers courses from undergraduate to doctorate level. The courses are recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) and the state government.
They have their own in campus media channel- Y TV, where the students work and have hands on experience of the real life media channel scenario. Apart from this there are many other events like Coke Studio, YouthVibe, etc taking place where the students are made part of it to give them the filed experience. Most of these things are part of their curriculum. Regular educational trips to various newspapers, channels, etc are arranged for students.
The School has an enriched library with a huge stock of books, reference materials and journals (print as well as online), and modern lab facilities to support teaching, learning and research. The school is a life-long member of Global Educational Research Association (GERA), All India Association of Educational Research (AIAER) and Indian Association of Teacher Education (IATE).
The School follows the NCTE model curriculum in its academic programmes. It also holds seminars and conferences at national and international levels. LPU provides rigorous exposure to students on pre-production, production, post-production, script writing for radio, TV and news media.
The faculties here in BJMC Lovely Professional University are highly experienced. There are different labs for BJMC department where high-end devices are installed for ultimate learning experience of students.

I don't really know about other colleges but there is PCTE Group of Institutes in Ludhiana which is offering B.A. In Journalism and the college is really good. I in fact have studied from there and would assure you that you would learn a lot of things when you get enrolled in the course be it in print or electronic media. PCTE, however is ranked the 2nd &10th in the country (Iims included) on the Return on Investment parameter by OUTLOOK Magazine. The same survey ranked us 25th on the parameter of Personality Development. To add on, the college is known for providing practical knowledge to its students where you guys would be working on drones, gimble, and other sophisticated gadgets. Also, you would be engaged to work in a sound proof studio where mixing and editing computers, software and equipment are used by the students. And believe me once you graduate that would help you a lot. Having said that the college would also help you to develop your personality you would have n number of activities that you could enrol yourself in be it literary, creative, stage events and many more. Once you complete your graduation the college also provides placement opportunities so you don't really have to look for a job. You can checkout the college once, its really good saying out of my personal experience.

Typically, the basic eligibility for pursuing a B.A. (Hons) Journalism course is 10+2 qualification. The student should have qualified senior secondary with a minimum of at least 50% marks. Some institutes even conduct entrance tests for this course. Students whose 12th results have been declared or who are awaiting their results can fill the application forms for the course. After the submission of the application form, most institutes conduct a written test (objective and/or subjective type) which is usually followed by a personal Interview. The final selection of candidates for admission is based on the performance in written test, interview and marks scored in Grade 12. Also, look at the option of B.A. (Hons) Journalism, Media and Communication as that provides aspirants with knowledge about various journalistic skills in mass media such as newspapers, television, radio, internet, etc. It is a holistic course and so a good option to consider.
