No, candidates are not allowed to get direct admissions into BA courses at Kumaun University. Kuman University is a state-public university that does not offer direct admissions to BA courses; candidates are required to qualify for the merit list, which the university releases on the basis of candidates' achieved scores in their higher senior secondary. However, there are chances that some of the university-affiliated colleges offer direct/ management admissions to BA courses. To know this, candidates are suggested to visit the official website of the respective college.

At the filling out the application form, candidates are required to attach several documents. Moreover, at the time of admission, candidates are required to submit some of the important documents for admissions. The required documents are as follows:

  • Copy of High school certificate
  • Copy of mark sheet of qualifying examination
  • Category certificate
  • NCC, NSS, Sports, etc. certificates
  • Affidavit in case of gap year (IF APPLICABLE)

Kumaun University admission dates for the BA course are out. Moreover, candidates are required to apply for the course soon, as the deadlines are also announced. The BA course is offered via its different affiliated colleges; candidates who complete the basic eligibility for the course can apply for the course and wait for the release of the merit list.

Yes, Kumaun University does offer BA courses for the duration of three years and in full-time mode. The university offers BA courses through various affiliated colleges in several specialisations. The basic requirement to get admission into BA courses is candidates must complete their Class 12 from any stream with a minimum aggregate of 40% to 50%.

Candidates who meet eligibility requirements can register and apply in an online and offline modes. After application scanning, the selection is done based on merit.
