Karnavati University grants admission to its BA (Hons) courses based on the applicants' performance in CUET UG, followed by a Personal Interview (PI) conducted by the university. However, candidates who do not have a valid CUET UG score can also apply for BA admission at the university. Such candidates must appear for the Karnavati University Admission Test (KUAT) conducted by the university. Based on their KUAT scores, candidates are shortlisted for the subsequent interview round.

Karnavati University BA admission is entrance-based. The university conducts the Karnavati University Admission Test (KUAT) to shortlist prospective candidates for BA (Hons) admission. It also accepts CUET UG scores to shortlist candidates. Shortlisted candidates are required to appear for the subsequent selection round, i.e. Personal Interview (PI). Only the candidates who qualify in these selection rounds and fulfil the preset eligibility criteria can get BA admission at the university. Hence, direct admission to the BA programme of Karnavati University may not be possible.
