One of the most common careers for commerce students is CA. CA exams are conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) and require one to clear three examinations viz. CPT, IPCC and Final CA. IPCC exam consists of two groups. After clearing one of the groups, a student is required to register for articleship with an experienced Chartered Accountant for a period of at least two and a half years. After clearing both groups of IPCC and successfully completing your articleship you can appear for the Final CA exam. Like IPCC, Final CA has two groups as well.
