Hi Rajaram,
It depends firstly on your area of interest and in which sector you want to make a career in. As per my understanding, I would suggest to go for B.Com before MBA, if you wish to study commerce and be involved there. Hope that helps.

Yes, You should start as early as possible. CMAT basically tests a students knowledge of Quantitative Technique & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General Knowledge. Almost all the topics covered in each section consists of elementary school subtopics. In order to have a pretty good score in CMAT one must score well in all the sections. Neglecting any one section is not an option here. However, one can choose to invest more time in a particular subtopic of a section than the other.
