Eligibility for B.E. / B.Tech
 The eligibility criteria at Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering (BUIE) are as follows:

Educational Qualification 
Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.
Minimum marks: At least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate in the qualifying examination.
Entrance Test: Aspirants must have appeared for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) or JEE Main. Admission is on the basis of WBJEE or JEE Main scores only.
Age Bar: The aspirants shall be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the year for seeking admission.

The selection Criteria for Shri Hanuman Vyayam Prasarak Mandal, College of Engineering and Technology for B.E. / B.Tech course are as follows :

• Eligibility: Individuals must have to pass 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along woth one of the following subjects as additional sucha s Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology etc.
• Minimum Marks: Candidates should have obtained atleast 45% marks in 10+2 examination and 405 for reserved category.
• Entrance Exams: Admission is based on the score from the MHT CET or JEE Mains exam
• Merit List: Candidstes are selected on the basis of entrance exam and their performance in 10+2 examinations
