The total number of seats in B.FTech in NIFTs are about 518 (Including 35 state domicile and 50 NRIs). The last hear closing rank was 604 at NIFT Kannur in the general category. Hence, your chances are moderate.

CMR 169 is a fair rank and you will be getting 3 among top 5 for sure viz. Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Gandhinagar. So stay tuned cause if, odds were on the side, you may end up getting Mumbai campus.

You will get very easily seat in all leading NIFT on the basis of your rank in B.FTech course. The total number of seat in B.FTech are 518 (Including 35 state domicile and 50 for NRIs).
