To be admitted to the First Year (FY) undergraduate courses of B.K. Birla College, Kalyan, the candidates should fulfill certain eligibility criteria. For admission to B.A. and B.Com., a pass in the HSC (Std. XII) examination of the Maharashtra State Board or an equivalent board is essential. For B.Sc., the candidates should have passed HSC in Science stream. Specialized courses such as B.Sc. (Computer Science) and B.Sc. (IT) need Mathematics and Statistics at HSC level. B.M.S., B.Com. The cost to study B.Sc Computer Science at BK Birla College is around INR 14,000 to 85,000. Also you have to give additional money such as caution money of INR 150 only, library deposit amounting INR 250 and laboratory deposit worth INR 400. However, it should be remembered that these deposits are refundable; they will be given back later. Besides there is a small charge of INR 100 for issuance of transfer certificate in case one is in his last year. But remember that this could change so it’s always good to call the institution directly to know what the current status is.
