No, course is offered for three years. There is no way to complete it in a year. The syllabus is divided in six semesters. Students have to complete every semester to get degree.

Yes, there are chances of admission with such marks in Class 12. As per the 2025 cutoff, the closing rank in BSc for general was 42% (PCM). Closing rank for OBC was 41% and for SC/ST was 39%. Students with 50% aggregate should definitely apply for admissions.
