No, you cannot study a BSc Agriculture course if you have completed your Class 12th in the commerce stream because you do not fulfill the basic eligibility criteria. For most BSc Agriculture colleges in Indore, students must have completed their high school in the Science stream with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) subjects.

There are 10 BSc Agriculture colleges in Indore, out of which 6 are privately owned and 2 are government/public institutes. Students who wish to study BSc Agriculture from colleges in Indore do not have to necessarily take any entrance exams, as students are generally admitted based on Class 12 marks.

To get into PJTSAU to pursue B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, the first entrance test is TS EAMCET - Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test. Major admissions are given on the basis of ranks gained in this examination, which is conducted at state level.
However, PJTSAU also allows admission to Common University Entrance Test (CUET) by 20% ICAR quota. For CUET, appropriate domain subjects in line with B.Sc. Agriculture must be opted for. Suitable domain subjects:
- Agriculture- Biology/Biological Studies/Biotechnology/Biochemistry- Chemistry- Physics

Check with the university about online or distance learning possibilities after receiving approval for such changes based on their established rules. The Directorate of Distance Education at Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University makes available multiple distance education courses that include Bsc in Agriculture. The university rules and regulations might disallow students to transition from regular to distance mode after the course has began. Obtaining approval for such a transition requires college authority consultation along with consultation from the university distance education department. The costs to complete the distance

Candidates need to have a strong base in PCB subjects (physics, chemistry and biology) as these are the core fundamentals of B.Sc agriculture, and the ones who have a foundation and understanding of these subjects will be able to pursue the curriculum of BSc Agriculture more easily and score well in the exams.
