The university caters a different kind of admission procedures for the admission in different courses:
Admissions to B.Tech. Programmes shall be made by the University on the basis of merit of Joint Entrance Examination conducted by CBSE, New Delhi.Admissions to Masters programme in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology shall be made through the entrance examination conducted by J.N.U., New Delhi.Admission to Masters programmes in MBA/ MBA (Agribusiness) shall be made throughCATand CMAT score and Group Discussion and an Interview conducted by the University.In M.Tech. programmes, admission shall be made based on the GATE qualifying marks in the subject (Major) in which admission is sought.Admissions to MCA programme shall be made on the basis of separate Entrance Examination to be conducted by the University.Admission for rest of the courses goes on on the basis of merit.

Duration: Duration of most of the top M.Sc entrance exams such as NEST and TIFR Entrance Exam is typically three hours. However, the duration might change depending on the college/ university policy and/ or the M.Sc subject a candidate is giving the exam for. Types of questions: Questions that appear in M.Sc entrance exams are usually objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). However, few M.Sc entrance exams also include numeric questions. For instance, IIT JAM exam contains a different section for numeric questions, called Numerical Answer Type (NAT). Here, the answer for each question is a number. Marking scheme: Marking scheme for most M.Sc entrance exams is such that 1 3 marks are awarded for each correct answer and 0.5 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. Therefore, candidates are recommended to mark their answers carefully. For exams where negative marking exists, candidates are also recommended not to attempt a question if they are unsure of the answer. Number of questions: Total number of questions usually varies in different M.Sc entrance exams depending on the pattern a college/ university is following. However, an M.Sc entrance exam can typically have questions ranging from 60 150. Total marks: Similar to the total number of questions, total marks that a candidate can score in an M.Sc entrance exam also vary. Pantnagar University, is the first agricultural university of India. It was inaugurated by Jawaharlal Nehru on 17th November 1960, as the "Uttar Pradesh Agricultural University" (UPAU). Later the name was changed to "Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology" in 1972 in memory of the first chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, statesman and Bharat Ratna recipient Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant. The University was declared as the best among all the other State Universities in India, in 1997. The University lies in the campus-town of Pantnagar in the district of Udham Singh Nagarin the state of Uttarakhand. The university is regarded as the harbinger of Green Revolution in India.

20th August, 1946 in the Osmania University campus. Subsequently, the University was shifted to the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University on 10th July, 1964 and presently working under the umbrella of one of the best University in the country I. e. ANGR Agricultural University from 14-11-1996. The College was established to impart the knowledge to the students and farmers of Telangana region in the field of agriculture. The College has completed its 60 years of establishment and organized the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the College during the year 1971, Golden Jubilee celebrations during the year 1996 and Diamond Jubilee celebrations recently during the year 2006. The College was started with only one B.Sc. (Ag) degree programme and to meet the manpower needs of the country with changing scenario in the field of agriculture two more degree programmes at UG level namely B.Sc. (Hort. ). And B.Sc. (CA&BM) were subsequently started at this College during the year 1982 and 2003, respectively. The College is first of its kind in the State and second in the South India to start the M.Sc. (Ag) P. G. programme in the year 1958 and Ph.D. programme during the year 1975. Subsequently another PG programme in the field of Horticulture was also started at this College during the year 1985. Further, to cater the specific requirements of the industry, more special programmes at PG level like MABM (Master of Agricultural Business Management), M.Sc.

Scientific concepts used in stages such as fish capture, processing, preservation, packing of fish and fish products, and subsequent transportation of them to other places. Legal as well marketing aspectsrelated to the fishing industry. An interdisciplinary examination of information from different fields like Oceanography, Management, Economics, Ecology, and Biology. Various aspects related to the breeding of fish along with farming and husbandry of important types of fish and aquatic organisms. Fish farms employ technicians and general workers to carry out feeding duties, monitoring stock, and identifying any problems or diseases. These engineers are in charge of operating and maintaining fish farm equipment such as water pumps and water treatment devices. Fish farm managers oversee all but everything, and deal with corporate responsibilities such as budget control and client meetings.
