Chemical Engineering is a better option than BSc chemistry as it has more career options as compared to BSc and also career growth in terms of Engg is high. With Engg degree one can easily enter the research field and many options are available. Although one can enter research field by pursuing BSc and then MSc also but more chances are with Chemical Engg is there. Also the starting salary of Chemical Engg is more than the chemistry graduate also career growth is also fast in Chemical Engg. In terms of educational qualification Chemical Engg has high repute than normal Chem grad.

Vijay no course is good or bad. Its absolutely on your interest and performance where it leads you so don't get pressurized . Try taking admission in DU, BHU, IIT's,Lovely Professional University KIIT etc. you may get good exposure to field and if you don't like it after graduation you can switch to MBA and be what most engineering/management graduates dream about. best of Luck choosing.
