It is quite difficult to find the university or college which allows a commerce stream studen to pursue B.Sc in physics. Usually colleges and universities allow students who have passed 10+2 with Science stream including subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology which is a common eligibility criteria but some of the colleges and universities allow students on the basis of Entrance exam based on Science subjects.

The eligibility criteria to get admission into BS courses at Mangalore University are candidates must complete their Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50% to 45%. Moreover, candidates who want to pursue a BSc course in the distinct specialisations must have completed their higher senior secondary with the subject related to that specialisation. The admissions to BSc courses at Mangalore University and its affiliated colleges are merit-based. The course aspirants who have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam can apply. However, the qualifying exam should have been passed from a recognised board.
