The general admission procedure for most institutes offering this course consists of an entrance examination, and based on performance at all levels, I. e. X, XII, and the entrance exam, admission to the course is given to candidates based on the final cumulative merit. However, there are many institutes in the country that offer admission to the course based solely on the percentage scored in classes X and XII. There are also a few institutes that conduct an additional round of counselling after the stage of entrance examination, for final selection. There is a growing demand for radiographers both in India and abroad, and more compared to the other paramedical professions. The discipline includes the study of subjects and topics such as Clinical Radiotherapy, Radio biology, Clinical Trials, Palliative care, Clinical Chemotherapy, etc. B.Sc. In Radiography includes the study of both Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiography which involves treatment of cancers and tumors with the help of radiations.
