The SIU helps students learn technology and skills while offering the best placement options. For students to build and obtain a substantial and compelling position in recognised organizations and enterprises, such as those found in Manipur as well as major Indian cities, the university offers specialised courses. The University's record of job placements is very old. Nearly all of the students have received employment, according to records from years past. 70–80% of pupils were hired by reputable companies. To be eligible for admission to BSc programs at Sangai International University (SIU), candidates are required to meet the following criteria:

• Successful completion of Class 12 from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

• Proficiency in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects in Class 12.

For specialised programs like BSc in Fashion and Apparel Design, additional criteria apply:

• Minimum 55% marks in aggregate in Class 12.

• Successful completion of subjects including English, Mathematics, and one of the following: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science.
