HICAS BSc seat allotment is based on marks obtained by candidates in the qualifying examination. Admission to the BSc programme is purely based on merit, subject to the rules of reservation of the Government of Tamil Nadu. HICAS BSc seat reservation followed by the institute is as follows:
- 50% of the seats will be filled as per the reservation policy stipulated by the regulatory bodies
- 50% of the seats will be filled through the Management Quota

Candidates pursuing BSc at HICAS must go through the rigorous course curriculum during the programme. HICAS BSc curriculum is divided into semester system as the institute follows the CBCS and LOCF pattern. Throughout the course of the programme, candidates must study diverse number of subjects. Hello,
Yes, you can pursue ANM at the age of 16 years and 4 months. ANM stands for Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery, it is a 2-year Diploma course that focuses on the healthcare sector. For this course, the age maximum limit is set to be 18 yrs, i.e., the candidate's age should not exceed 18 yrs.
However, for GNM and B.Sc Nursing, the age should be between 17-35 yrs. So, you cannot apply for these courses.

HICAS BSc curriculum is spread across six semesters over the period of three-year. Hence, HICAS BSc syllabus includes MIL, AECC, DSC, SEC, GE, AEE and various online subjects. The institute follows CBCS and LOCF pattern. At the end of every semester, students are required to go for extension activities, aptitude training, internship/ industrial visit/ mini project. HICAS BSc syllabus varies according to the specialisation opted by students.

HICAS BSc placements 2024 have not been concluded yet by the institute and the placement report is not out yet for the current graduating batch but according to the NIRF report 2024, the HICAS BSc median package for the year 2023 for UG three-year programme for 1,866 graduating students stood at INR 3.74 LPA. Earlier, the HICAS BSc highest package for the year 2022 stood at INR 8.2 LPA.
