A holistic review means the school looks at everything in your file. They check your grades, but they also read your essays carefully. They want to know about your interests and any challenges you faced. Illinois Tech Mumbai uses this to see if you are a good fit. It gives every BSc applicant a fair chance to shine. Your personality and potential matter just as much as your test scores.

Traditional universities like IIT Bombay or BITS Pilani offer huge residential campuses with thousands of students. Illinois Tech Mumbai is a more niche, urban center focused on professional and technical growth. It has a smaller intake of only 120 students for the BSc program. This means you get much more personal time with faculty compared to a crowded state university. It feels more like a professional training hub than a typical sprawling college campus with hundreds of clubs and sports.

Yes, the curriculum is a direct mirror of the Chicago campus and is highly STEM-focused. While a standard Indian B.Sc. is often three years, the Illinois Tech Mumbai programme is a four-year degree. It emphasizes practical technology skills like Artificial Intelligence and Business IT from day one. Many Indian BSc programs are more theoretical and academic in nature. This four-year structure also makes it much easier if you plan to move abroad for a Master's degree later.
