Yes, candidates are allowed to get admission into BSc courses at NTR  University of Health Sciences without entrance exams for some of the BSc courses at affiliated colleges. Further, the university releases the merit of shortlisted candidates according to their scores achieved in higher senior secondary. Thus, to increase the chance of getting selected for a BSc course, applicants must complete their Class 12 from the Science stream (specifically PCB) with a good score.

The BFUHS BSc programme is offered in various specialisations, such as Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology, Radiotherapy Technology, Medical Technology, etc. NTRUHS also offers various specialisations in BSc courses. Yes, NTRUHS does offer seat reservation for BSc courses. Moreover, for the BSc in Nursing course, the university follows the seat reservation as per the rules of Andhra Pradesh/ Indian Nursing Council. The candidate should possess a valid BC/SC/ST certificate in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of Andhra Pradesh for claiming seats under the BC/SC/ST category. The percentage of seats reserved for the BSc course is as follows:

  • Backwards class (BC) – 29% of seats in the course
  • Scheduled Caste (SC) – 15% of seats in the course
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST) – 06% of seats in the course

Yes, candidates can apply for BSc courses at a college affiliated with NTR University of Health Sciences through a single application. Moreover, candidates are required to choose multiple affiliated colleges and BSc courses. However, only those BSc specialisations can be selected that are part of a centralised admission process conducted by NTR University of Health Sciences. Further, once the counselling process is done, candidates are required to pay the course fee according to the college they get a seat in.
