B.Sc. Mathematics and Computing from IIT Kanpur is more mathematical, algorithm-based, data Science and computing. It suits AI, finance, analytics, software development or research careers. Placements may be more research or software-oriented rather than the traditional engineering job roles.

If we compare the BSc tuition fees of Utkal University and Birla Global University we will see that Utkal University has a more varied total tuition fee for its BSc programme as it has many affiliated colleges that offer the programme. Birla Global University doesn't have as many affiliated colleges, hence there is only one tuition fee for the programme.
Utkal University has a tuition fee in the range of INR 360 - 2.3 lakh, whereas, Birla Global University has a tuition fee of INR 3.8 lakh. Therefore, Utkal University has a more affordable BSc programme out of the two universities.

The University hasn't released its report for BSc placements in 2024. According to the NIRF Report 2024 released by the University, the median package offered during Utkal University UG 4-year, UG 5-year 2023 stood at INR 2.20 LPA, INR 3.5 LPA, respectively.
As per Shiksha student reviews, students can also get placed as part of the teaching staff at the institute, with the a range of the package being 15,000 - 17,000 per month depending on experience.

Utkal University offers 28,873 seats in its BSc programme through its multiple specialisations and affiliated colleges. Out of all the colleges that offer BSc seats from Utkal University, Govindapur College offers the most amount of BSc seats with 720 seats, while Kamakhyanagar College offers the least amount of seats with only eight seats for the BSc programme.

Yes, it is not as difficult to get admission into Utkal University BSc compared to other universities, as Utkal University conducts its BSc admissions directly through Class 12 exam which is not tough to get into. If a candidate can score decently in the Class 12 exam they can avail admission into the programme as after clearing the exam, Candidates do not have to sit for further rounds of admission.

Candidates applying for Utkal University BSc must appear for their Class 12 exam in their respective stream. Utkal University does not consider any other entrance exam for admission. After clearing the exam, Candidates do not have to sit for further rounds of admission, as only the merit score of Class 12 is considered.

Utkal University BSc application process is online. Candidates have to apply online to get admission into the BSc programme. To get admission into Utkal University BSc candidates have to apply through the university website if they are eligible to seek admission into the institution.
The document verification at Utkal University BSc take place offline at the campus of the affiliated college. Candidates have to appear in person for the document verification and fee payment. It is only after this process admissions are confirmed in the programme.
