JIPMER BSc admission is entrance-based. Candidates are shortlisted and admission is offered based on NEET scores. However, there are some specialisations, in which the admission can be granted on merit-basis. Candidates who are Class 12 pass with PCM/Biology and English as a subject with at least 50% aggregate (for general candidates) can apply. The aspirants must meet the age limit as well. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility requirements can apply for admission by completing the application form.

The process of an admission of B.Sc. regularly depends on the specific university; however, there are also many institutions in this world those only provide merit-based admissions. However, some universities may also have an entrance exam added to it like Delhi University Exam for entrance: DUET for BHU . It is important to note that the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani does not have a B.Sc. Nursing programme for registration on the Common Admission Test. In Odisha, admission in B.Sc Nursing is generally offered through OJEE, while PG in Nursing is usually entrance test through OJEE, though certain private nursing colleges take examination answer key of NEET into consideration for admission.
