Yes, SNU Chennai offers merit-based scholarships to students who have excelled in the preceding year’s examination. The scholarship is open to students from all the UG courses of the institution. Only one student is chosen out of all the UG courses of the university.

Yes, SNU Chennai has merit-cum-means scholarships for first-generation/non-first-generation learners with an annual family income of INR 3 lakhs or below. As part of the scholarship, they get a fee waiver of 50% to 75% on their tuition fee. To be eligible for the scholarship a candidate has to pass both the SNUCEE entrance exam and the personal interview round.

The eligibility criteria for admission to the BSc course involves three major requirements,  first candidates must secure decent scores in Class 12 from a recognised board of education, secondly, candidates must appear in the Ashok Aptitude Test, this test is an in-house test conducted by the university to help them for shortlisting the students.
