The latest cutoff information on B.Sc admissions at IHM Shillong, 2024 is not yet available.
However, the cutoff for the previous year was 60% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
The selection process for IHM Shillong is based on the merit list prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The candidates who are shortlisted on the merit list will be called for an interview.

The following entrance exams are accepted by IHM Shillong for admission to B.Sc:
1) IHM CET (Institute of Hotel Management Common Entrance Test)
2) CAT (Common Admission Test)
3) MAT (Management Aptitude Test)
4) XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test)
5) GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test)
6) GRE (Graduate Record Examination)
Among these, The IHM CET is the most preferred entrance exam for admission to IHM Shillong.
Other exams are also accepted by IHM Shillong for admission to B.Sc.

It is generally not possible to change your subject in the second year of a B.Sc. program. Most colleges do not allow switching from life sciences to pure sciences, and even if you get good marks, there is often no provision for changing subjects mid-course. You would need to reapply for admission to the new course, which would mean starting from the first year again.

Jai Hind College offers a three-year BSc programme in general mode as well as in two different specialisations, namely BSc Biotechnology and, BSc Information Technology. Jai Hind College BSc admission is based on merit. The cutoff for BSc programme is based on candidates’ performance in Class 12/ HSC or equivalent exams.

The total seat intake for the BSc programme across various specialisations offered at Jai Hind College is 335. Jai Hind College BSc seat reservation for the minority quota is as per Government norms.
